PAL Spring Tennis  & Summer Bowling Registration

3/7/07 - Nassau County PAL Police Officer / Director James Graham of the Massapequa PAL has just announced registration dates for the 2007 Spring Tennis and Summer PAL Bowling programs.

Registration for our Spring Tennis Program will take place on Thursday, March, 22nd from 5 pm to 7 pm; and on Saturday, March 24th  from 10 am to noon at our PAL Trailer, 510 Parkside Blvd. in Massapequa (northeast corner of the LIRR's Massapequa train station).

The cost of the program is $95 per person for this six-session instructional program which will run in April and May.

Tennis Instruction is held at Massapequa's Sportime on Old Sunrise Highway is East Massapequa.  Various dates and times for instruction are available to choose from during these open enrollment sessions.  For further information, please call our Tennis office at 516 409-4414 or email us at copsnkids@MassapequaPAL.org

PAL Bowling offers a large variety of summer programs including Bumper Bowling for boys & girls ages 4 - 7, Junior Bowling for ages 8 -11, and Teen Bowling for ages 12 & up.  All summer bowling sessions will begin on June 25th.

It is with great excitement that we will be bringing back our popular 10-week “Have-A-Ball” program for ages 4 – 16.  The “Have-A-Ball” program will take place on Thursday’s only.  All Have-A-Ball participants will receive a custom drilled bowling ball and bag at the completion of this special program.  The cost of the “Have a Ball” program is $13 per week. 

In addition, we will also be offering a Bumper Bowling Program (5 per team - two games at $6.00 per week); a Junior Bowling program (4 per team - three games at $8.00 per week); and a Teens program (4 per team - three games at $8.00 per week).  These programs will run on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.  All participants will receive a PAL Bowling T-Shirt and a participation trophy at the end of the summer season.

We are proud to partner with Massapequa Bowl, 4235 Merrick Rd. (corner of Hicksville Rd.) in Massapequa who will once again host our bowling activities. Participants can register at Massapequa Bowl on Monday, March 19th, Thursday, March 22nd and Friday, March 23rd from 4pm to 6pm. The registration fee for all programs is $15, payable by cash or check made out to “Massapequa PAL”.   Call P.A.L.
